Literacy & Numeracy Through Music Programme

Literacy & Numeracy through Music for
PRe-School EY,
P1-3 and Learning Support

Fun, engaging programmes link musical performance to specific numeracy and literacy processing tasks-
available as whole class activities, activities for smaller groups or for individual work on PCs or Tablets.

Designed for non-specialist teachers, all material is available through the interactive white board, and clear lesson plans
give detailed instructions on class and instrument management- so anyone can teach these programmes.

Teachers can select which phonemes or arithmetic tasks to focus on, and content is coded for and complements major phonics
and numeracy schemes- eg Jolly Phonics, Active Literacy, Read Write Inc, Teaching Number/SEAL etc.

"The resources are really good because they bridge the gap for
children who are struggling in a really fun way. It was
something I could do with the whole class without having to
 pick those children out."

Katie D'Souza, Newark Primary, Inverclyde
